Father's day

For Father's day this year I made my dad a glasses case.  (I made one for my mum a couple of years ago)
The pattern is by Jamie Chalmers, better known as Mr X Stitch, and is from issue 253 of CrossStitcher magazine. I used DMC 310 on 28ct natural linen. The case is lined with some plain cream cotton fabric, and it has a layer of cotton batting to cushion and protect the glasses.
Some Joel Dewberry woodgrain made the perfect backing.
A perfect present for a perfect dad  :-)
