More cherries

Here's where I am at so far.
Very close to the end now. I think I could have finished it last night, but I lost my needle :-( and didn't want to disturb DH ,who was already in bed, to get another one. That is the second needle I have lost recently. It's my birthday in a couple of weeks so I am thinking of getting a needle minder with my birthday money.
I really love the z.
Not so much all the confetti stitches.
When I'm finished with it, I'd love to trade this chart for one of the other fruit salad sampler charts (pear, apple, strawberry). Email/comment if interested.

Busy, busy this week. Kids on holiday from school for two weeks and next week my best friend and her family are coming to visit. Can't wait :-)

Crap weather here this week, non stop wind and rain and even some talk of snow too. Time to huddle up with my stitching next to the fire.

Have a great week,

Sadie x

Edited to add - DH just found one of my missing needles on the floor in the lounge, he said he saw the light glinting off it. One down one to go.

That's lovely - what size is it? Will you be framing it or perhaps making a pillow?

I love the colors in this one. So rich and pretty.

I hope the needle is found before it pokes someone. :)

Oh I know the lost needle story fat too well! Jack is usually the one that finds them, in his hand, in his foot> Let me just say he doesn't let me forget it! He's so much better at keeping track of his needles. Maybe it's because he's afraid I'd raze him too much because he does me!

This is really pretty Sadie.Wish I had the others to trade you. Good job your husband finding your needle.Lucky he didn't find it with his foot. We have had steady heavy rain for the last 2 days. Over 6 inches. We are about to float away.

Lovely stitching! This will be a great finish. I don't have any of these, so afraid I'm no help for a trade.

Sadie....just beautiful! Any plans for finishing it? A frame maybe?

This is such a pretty piece and you'll be reporting a finish in no time at all. Hope you missed out on all that snow they've been talking about in Scotland.

That's turning out beautifully - I can see why you love the z (and why you're not excited about the confetti!) I have a magnetic little container that holds several needles and it's a lifesaver. I bought it a million years ago for $2.00, and the fact that I'm still using it, when I've dumped so many other "time-saving devices" says a lot.

Your cherries is coming out so pretty. I am always losing my needles and I have to check the rug before I vacuum so I wont suck up the needles, lol.
