Not a happy bunny!

A few days ago my left thumb started to get a little tender near to the side of the nail. This little sore bit developed into a spot/blister which I speared with a sterilised needle. The spot healed and the pain went away.
Yesterday I started to get little sore bits all over my left hand, specifically on the palm and fingers. The blisters are raised and sore and any my hand is swollen and hot. Today I went to the doctors and he has diagnosed me with pustular psoriasis. Yuck! I have no history of psoriasis but apparently that can often be the case with this form of psoriasis. I have a really strong cream to apply twice daily and I have to go back and see him next week. I really hope it works. Pustular psoriasis is chronic and could keep reoccurring indefinatly.
I'm feeling kinda bummed because although I'm right handed (this is on my left) it has really limited what I am able to do. I am not able to grip anything well with that hand, I can't hold my stitching and even knitting is too painful :-(
I also have a patch of eczema behind my left ear which has caused the skin to split right down the crease where my ear joins my head, this has become infected so I have a cream for that too.
I'm so sorry for moaning, I'm just feeling all 'woe is me' right now.
Someone kick me up the backside or at least pass the chocolate and ice-cream. No alcohol though because it could react with the ingredients in the creams and my head will fall off.

Aww; have a virtual chocolate: on valentine's day we had a chocolate almond cake from Ikea (had it before in their Cafe, but bought a whole box!). It was even better at home! So, I'd send you a nice, big, chocolatey piece of that.

Prescription creams seem to really do the trick; we're keeping our fingers crossed for your swift recovery!

Ouch! I am so sorry about your hand and your ear! My daughter used to have a spot on her ear where the crease was really close and it would often crack and be sore, I understand how troublesome and painful that can be.

Hope everything heals quickly...take care!

Hope your hand and ear feel better with the use of the cream. I suffer from eczema occasionally (was much worse as a child). This year have been a bad one....*hugs*

Hope your hand heals quickly and stays clear. I just posted on my blog about being right handed and naturally using your left hand for certain things, at least in my case.

Hope you get better real soon, I can understand your frustration. I too had this last year and it took its sweet ole time of going away. Just keeping doing as the doctor ordered and hopefully you will be good as new asap!

Oh Sadie, big hugs!! It all sounds very painful. I hope the cream works well for you and that you get better soon. My BIL has psoriasis and finds that heat and sunlight help it. Big hugs.
