I think I will make it into a little pillow as it's too big for the tree and that way i can display it all year round too :-)
Alas the mince pies are all gone now! But I will be making some more tomorrow.
This week I would like to get some ornaments stitched for family, I have all the supplies pulled for my parents' ornament. I'm hoping to make a start on that tonight, no hints though as mum reads my blog! Hi mumsy :-)
I hope you had a great weekend and that the week ahead is filled with stitches.

Love the new finish....will have to add that to my pile of stuff to do. I'm a 12 Days addict so this will be a great addition
Sadie,
It is beautiful! You have been a very busy gal lately, makes me jealous!Lol.
What a cute little finish!

Hi Sadie your stitching looks great.
Great use of those silks! Very pretty!
Love the finish! Don't you just love stitching with silk? It's like the greatest luxury a stitcher can give herself. Wish I was there for those mince pies! I haven't had any for a very long time. Yours looked YUMMY!
You're putting some of those pies into the post for me right? LOL! Just kidding! Your start looks great. I love the way silks look when stitched , but they always seem to catch on the smallest little rough spot and then the thread gets pulled out of the eye of the needle all of the time. Doesn't seem to do it nearly as often with regular floss though. Frustrating!
Very pretty!
Beautiful! :)
I just came upon that freebie the other day--it is nice to see it all stitched up so prettily!
Very pretty finish!
It looks nice, Sadie :)
Very nice finish.

What a beautiful ornament, Sadie! I can't wait to see which ornaments you choose to stitch for the next post. :)
I just love the new finish, what a cute design!
