New start and tossin' the floss in

Seeing as I finished up 'Curly Q Ewe; i figured that I was entitled to a new start, or two!
Here is the first. It is the smaller design from the Prairie schooler chart 'When Witches Go Riding'. Stitching with the listed DMC, 1 strand over 2 on 36ct linen.
Hopefully this will be finished and made into something in time for halloween this year.

My other new start is technically not actually a start yet, but it will be when I am finished this blog post :-)
Here is the tossin of the floss in.

Anyone want to hazard a guess as to what this is? There is no prize but you do get to be smug if you get it right. I'll let you know later in the week.

Off now to make a start, I'm so excited. I LOVE new starts.
Hope your weekend is drier than mine has been so far, come back sunshine!

I'll gladly trade you some of your rain for our heat. Still under heat warning here.

Looking good so far!!! I did the bigger chart from When Witches Go Riding earlier in the year and was happy with how wonderfully easy it was to stitch!!! Can't wait to see yours finished! No idea on what the other is, but have fun!

Great start on the Witches, and I love the rest of your creations, really pretty stitching!

Where in Scotland do you live?? I am researching Rutherglen and the surrounding area, where my father was from, it is such a beautiful country!

Oh! I almost forgot about those smaller designs on the PS leaflet, Thanks for reminding me.
Those fibers sure look good together. We are soaked to the bone

I love the start on witches - I read that Rene la Frog is also starting that too. How fun - getting ready for Halloween.
Mmmmm...looking at the colors of your "floss toss" I venture to guess that it might be a L*K...I just have finished a couple of her designs and they have similar colors.
Have a great weekend...Take care!

Sadie,

You have a great Halloween start.

I love those colors on your new WIP but I have no idea what it could be.

That floss toss...I'm gonna guess that it's for Jardin Priv's My Lady's Quaker? that chart's been taking the net by storm lately.
